Compare monthly rental prices

Compare the actual monthly and yearly quotes, included services and total commitment for your shortlist. A yearly quote divided by twelve is only a comparison figure, not an agreement to accept monthly instalments. Monthly renting may offer more flexibility; a yearly commitment needs careful checks of payment, cancellation and maintenance terms.

Compare monthly and yearly renting

There is no single package across all properties. Confirm electricity, water, internet, cleaning, pool and garden care, and any other stated charges. Ask which amounts are fixed and which depend on usage. Monthly and yearly packages for the same villa may have different inclusions; record the agreed services and responsibilities in your agreement.

Budget beyond the rent

Payment schedules and deposits vary by property. A yearly advertised price does not establish whether instalments are accepted. Separate advance rent, any holding payment and the security deposit. Before paying, confirm the recipient, due dates, refund conditions, deductions and handover arrangements in writing. CHB does not publish a single deposit rule for every listing.

For remote work, request a current internet test from the room you will use, check a suitable desk, enclosed workspace and noise, and plan backup connectivity. For a family, check bedroom layout, stairs, pool access and school journeys. A workspace or family-friendly label is not proof of suitability or safety; confirm the details for your household.

Use the pet-friendly filter to shortlist listings, then confirm your animal’s type, size and number with the team. Ask about any pet deposit, restrictions and outdoor boundaries before booking. Published pet information does not replace written approval for your particular pet.

Verify the property, the representative’s authority and the payment recipient separately. Get the rental dates, price, payment schedule and cancellation terms in writing. A viewing or professional-looking agreement alone does not prove authority to collect money. Independently verify changed bank details. Company registration is a useful identity check, not a guarantee against fraud.
